Who we are

GaBe Double Glazing is the registered business name operated by BLG Enterprises WA Pty Ltd as trustee for the BLG Unit Trust (ABN 67 424 176 276) ("we", "us", "our"). We are the business that collects and holds your personal information when you use this website or get in touch with us.

We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and, where applicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

This website is built and operated on our behalf by LocalCraft (ABN 35 637 498 840; localcrft.com.au) as our service provider. LocalCraft handles your information only on our instructions and as needed to operate the website for us, to run it and deliver your enquiry to us. LocalCraft also keeps technical and security logs needed to operate and protect the website, and uses those logs for site security and reliability.

Information we collect

We collect personal information across the life of a project: through our website, by email or phone, in our showroom, during site visits, and when we prepare quotes and contracts. Depending on how you deal with us, this can include:

• Your name, address and contact details;
• The installation or site address, if different from your own;
• Quote, order and project information;
• Measurements and site-survey information;
• Photographs of your windows, doors or site;
• Correspondence and notes from phone enquiries;
• Invoices and payment records;
• Warranty and service history;
• Records of any complaints you raise with us.

Our hosting provider also keeps basic technical logs of website visits (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running reliably. If you arrive at our website via a marketing link, we also capture basic campaign and source parameters together with your enquiry, to understand how you found us.

When you send us an enquiry

When you send us an enquiry or request a quote through the forms on this website, we collect the details you enter to respond to you and prepare your quote. They are shared only with the service providers that run this website and, where needed, the suppliers and installers who help deliver your project, and where the law requires it. Some providers may process information outside Australia. If you leave details out, we may not be able to respond.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
• To arrange measurements, manufacturing and installation;
• To provide warranty and after-sales service;
• To improve our website and services;
• With your agreement, to photograph completed installations and use those photographs on our website and in our marketing.

Where your information is stored

Our primary enquiry and quote database is hosted in the Australian (Sydney) region. Some of our technology and communications providers may process or store limited information outside Australia as part of their global infrastructure.

Third-party providers we rely on

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for marketing. A small number of service providers help us run the website and receive only what their role requires:

• A website hosting provider: hosts and serves the website, and keeps the basic technical logs described above. It is a United States-based provider with a global content delivery network;
• A database provider: stores enquiry and quote data in its Australian (Sydney) region;
• An email-delivery provider: delivers your enquiry to our inbox. It processes email in the United States;
• A business email provider: where your enquiry arrives and is answered. It uses global infrastructure that can include locations outside Australia.

Google also receives the advertising-measurement data described under Cookies and analytics below.

Beyond these, we may share your details with trusted suppliers and installers only as needed to deliver your project, and where required by law.

How we protect your information

Your information is encrypted in transit (this site is served over HTTPS) and encrypted at rest by the providers. Access to personal information is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who need access to perform their role or provide services to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable, practical steps to safeguard what you share with us.

If something goes wrong

Where applicable, we handle eligible data breaches in accordance with Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) promptly. In plain terms: if your information is ever caught up in a breach, we will investigate what happened, contain it, and tell you, honestly and without delay.

How long we keep it, and how it's destroyed

We keep enquiry and quote information only as long as we need it to respond to you and provide our services, plus any period the law requires us to keep records (for example, tax and warranty obligations). After that, it is deleted or de-identified.

You may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you. Send your request to info@gabedoubleglazing.com.au or call 1800 422 334. Where we are not required or permitted to retain that information for legal, taxation, contractual, warranty, dispute-resolution or other legitimate business purposes, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Cookies & analytics

This website uses one functional cookie, called lead_draft. If a quote request or enquiry fails to send, this cookie temporarily holds what you typed (your name, suburb, phone number, email address, message, job type, and whether you attached photos) so the page can refill the form for you instead of losing it. It lasts 5 minutes, is deleted the moment the form reads it back, cannot be read by any script running in your browser, and is never sent to any other website.

This site also loads Google's advertising tag on every page, which sets a small number of Google Ads conversion-tracking cookies (for example _gcl_au). We use them only to measure whether our Google Ads campaigns lead to enquiries. Google processes the data these cookies collect under its own privacy policy, and may use it for its own purposes, as set out in Google's own privacy policy. Beyond the two purposes described above, we use no other analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.

Your rights

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or have it corrected. Send your request to info@gabedoubleglazing.com.au or call 1800 422 334. We aim to respond to access and correction requests within 30 days.
