This website is built and operated on our behalf by LocalCraft (ABN 35 637 498 840; localcrft.com) as our service provider. LocalCraft handles your information only on our instructions, to run the website and deliver your enquiry to us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

When you send us a quote request or enquiry, we collect what you choose to give us:

• Your name and suburb;
• Your phone number and/or email address;
• Your project details — windows, doors, and what you'd like done;
• Photos of your windows or doors, if you choose to send them.

Our hosting provider also keeps basic technical logs of website visits (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running reliably.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
• To arrange measurements, manufacturing and installation;
• To provide warranty and after-sales service;
• To improve our website and services.

Where your information is stored

Enquiry and quote information is stored in a secure database hosted by our database provider in the Australian (Sydney) region. The website itself is served globally through a content delivery network, so pages load quickly wherever you are. We tell you this plainly because you have a right to know where your information lives: it is held in Australia, with providers that maintain appropriate data protection safeguards.

Third-party providers we rely on

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for marketing. A small number of service providers help us run the website and receive only what their role requires:

• A website hosting provider — hosts and serves the website, and keeps the basic technical logs described above;
• A database provider — stores enquiry and quote data in its Australian (Sydney) region;
• An email-delivery provider — delivers your enquiry to our inbox;
• A business email provider — where your enquiry arrives and is answered.

Beyond these, we may share your details with trusted suppliers and installers only as needed to deliver your project, and where required by law.

How we protect your information

Your information is encrypted in transit (this site is served over HTTPS) and encrypted at rest by the providers. Access is limited to the business owner and our website service provider — no one else. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable, practical steps to safeguard what you share with us.

If something goes wrong

We handle security incidents in line with Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) promptly. In plain terms: if your information is ever caught up in a breach, we will investigate what happened, contain it, and tell you — honestly and without delay.

How long we keep it — and how it's destroyed

We keep enquiry and quote information only as long as we need it to respond to you and provide our services, plus any period the law requires us to keep records (for example, tax and warranty obligations). After that, it is deleted or de-identified.

You can also ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@gabedoubleglazing.com.au. We will verify the request is really from you and action it within 30 days.

Cookies & analytics

This website uses one functional cookie, called lead_draft. If a quote request or enquiry fails to send, this cookie temporarily holds what you typed — your name, suburb, phone number, email address, message, job type, and whether you attached photos — so the page can refill the form for you instead of losing it. It lasts 5 minutes, is deleted the moment the form reads it back, cannot be read by any script running in your browser, and is never sent to any other website.

If you arrive here from one of our Google Ads campaigns, this site also sets a small number of Google Ads conversion-tracking cookies (for example _gcl_au), used only to tell us whether that ad led to an enquiry. We don't use them to build an advertising profile of you or to follow you elsewhere, and they're governed by Google's own privacy policy. Beyond these two purposes, we use no other analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.

Your rights
